Dell Perc H710 Adapter, Integrated, Mini Mono, Mini Blade compared

Due to the variations it was very confusing to me and probably confuse a lot of others also, so hopefully this article will help. The models ending in "p" such as H710p have 1GB cache while the model H710 without the "p" have 512MB cache.

While the Perc Series-8 controllers such as H710 are tested for the Dell PowerEdge 12th servers, it should work in lower generation server also, but my guess is Dell do not test them for compatibility for the lower generations so it is not listed as compatible.
