This cable originally designed for use with Dell Precision Workstation T5810, T7810, will allow you to connect from your 12Gb/s SAS controllers such as LSI 9300-8i with SFF-8643 Internal HD MiniSAS connectors to 2x SAS drives. Uses 15-pin SATA power. For example, you can use 2 of these cables to connect 4 sas or sata drives to the LSI SAS 9300-8i 8-port 12Gb/s SAS HBA.
