This cable allows you to connect from controllers such as Dell Perc H310, H700, H710 with 2x internal SFF-8087 connector to SAS backplane with 2x SFF-8087 MiniSAS connector. For example, this cable connects from Serial SCSI (SAS) Controller card (PERC8) to the backplane (8HD 3.5") of your PowerEdge T420 or a Precision Workstation T7600. This cable is basically two cables wrapped into one so you use this cable instead of two separate minisas cable.
